A Sweet Thanksgiving

If I could describe this year in just one word, it would be "uncertain." As the economy wrestles its way back after the pandemic, obstacles continue to challenge a smooth recovery. Consumer habit shifts, global supply chain constraints, ever-increasing inflation rates and job market turmoil, to name a few.

But the thunder::tech team faced these challenges for our clients head-on, embracing the opportunity to innovate, be nimble and support them through this time of uncertainty. There is much to be thankful for this year, especially for the people I am honored to call my t::team. I cannot stress the importance of the awesome humans at thunder::tech enough; without them, our success would simply be impossible.  

Take a moment and think about that last bite of mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving Day, stuffed full of the foods you waited all year for. Just when you thought you couldn’t fit anything else in, you peer over and lock eyes with the dessert table stacked high with homemade cookies and pies. 

Now imagine Thanksgiving without a pie to finish out the evening. It's still a good holiday meal but lacks a portion of the experience. Fortunately, I get to have the whole smorgasbord daily with my team – great humans doing great work for great clients. It’s the people behind each handcrafted dish that make the holiday so sweet for me.  

Only together can we fearlessly take on projects that other agencies pass on because of their complexities, accomplish the never done before and still tell the cringiest dad jokes. The work we do never ceases to amaze me, from being trusted to reposition incredible brands to delivering record-breaking e-commerce sales. Add in amazing feats of customer service, and I get to witness a steady stream of gushing client compliments. This makes me appreciate each t::team member and how they work together.  

Additionally, I want to extend a thank you to the clients who welcome us into their organizations and trust us to build their brands. The connections we make with clients are what make thunder::tech so unique. Our team isn't confined to our office walls; it spreads out to every partnership we make. When a client wins, we are honored to be by your side, popping the champagne and celebrating with you.  

Now go stuff yourself with turkey, green bean casserole, cranberries or whatever Thanksgiving food you're partial to – you deserve it. Because when we get back, it'll be time to finish the year with a bang.
